The thing you need to know about my anime consumption habits is that I am every single kind of terrible anime fan at once. I'm trying to come up with a single rec based on this. Gantz hits most of this, but I don't think the boys ever kiss other boys, and it never goes as far as it could have with the girl who considers herself the main character's "pet" because she doesn't think she's a human being anymore.

Already read (and enjoyed) Gantz.

In that case, I have one more recommendation. Every aspect of Gantz is something Cannon God Exaxxion does better. Not necessarily well, but better.
