i think the main reason i hate a lot of A/B/O issuefic is because a lot of it is written by people who think the entire thing is 50SOG-style dogfuck rapeworld nonsense written by people who're just mindlessly bashing the id button and who don't analyze the consequences of their worldbuilding, and then they think that their bargain-basement surface-level hey-isn't-this-fucked-up takes disguised as fic are Boundary-Pushing and Subversive and Have Never Been Done Before and it just pisses me off

like yes i know that Rape and Misogyny are Bad and that Consent and Kink Negotiation are Good. i am an adult. now, do you have anything interesting to say about gender? about bodily autonomy? reproductive rights? kink? queerness? worldbuilding? anything? anything interesting?
