*sighs*

Allistics. Things like "being bad with sarcasm and hyperbole", "having flat effect", "speaking in a strange manner", and "having mannerisms that look weird or even creepy" are commonly referred to as "autistic traits" because a lot of autistic people have these traits as a direct result of their autism. You are not progressive for proclaiming that characters who share these traits can't be autistic because it would be "too obvious".

Secondly, a character who was bullied and called a "monster" his whole life learning into the whole "monster" thing is not "bad representation". The entire phenomenon of slur reclamation shows that people really like to lean into negative things and turn them into a source of power.

ALSO KENMA AND USHIJIMA ARE LOW EMPATHY THANK YOU AND GOODNIGHT

A message for hyperempaths.

I understand that you mean well when you say in response to some ableist fuckwad saying that "Autistic people don't have theory of mind! They don't have empathy! Therefore, they're not people and are okay to abuse", you say "Actually most/all autistic people either feel 'normal' levels of empathy or feel too much empathy, we actually do have theory of mind!"

But, however, you are effectively creating an underclass of autistic people who have low/no empathy and have struggles with theory of mind. You are saying that these autistic people either don't exist or are okay to abuse because we aren't really people.

Please stop doing this.
