Jun. 3rd, 2021 01:28 pmme: "hm, i've been thinking about kaneki's relationship to gender because it's very interesting both in the 'this is super fun to analyze and pick apart from a queer theory lens' and in the 'this is Super Mega Id Candy for my horny genderqueer ass' way, and i just sort of realized that 'kaneki is intersex' is like. Barely a headcanon. i wonder if anyone's talking about this!"
people on the internet: *discuss this whole barely-a-headcanon in perhaps the most binarist way i've ever seen anyone discuss a headcanon*
me: *recoils in OHGODWHATTHEFUCK*

Apr. 11th, 2020 02:05 pmi'm honestly oscillating on whether or not i want to watch the :re anime, because i really don't want to see mutsuki's arc spontaneously die and collapse in on itself for the sake of yet another CYCLE OF ABUSE! storyline but i'm also morbidly curious about how they're going to handle the whole scarecrow thing because guys...ya kinda wrote yourself into a corner with that there.

Jan. 20th, 2020 04:07 pmSo, fun thought experiment.
In Tokyo Ghoul, there's a character called Juuzou. He was castrated as a child and didn't go through physical puberty, however, he's an adult for most of the manga (19 during his first appearance, 29 when the manga ends).
Would antis consider anyone who wrote about him in any sort of sexual/romantic relationship to be pedophilia?
