just realized that my main problems with jrock twitter fandom and enstars twitter fandom are basically the same (1: it's full of people who pride themselves on being Mean (insert marginalized group here), but just make fun of people for harmless traits all day and 2: everyone fights all day over minor idiosyncratic preferences that people treat as vastly more important than they actually are)

and i think that's because of how twitter as a platform functions, and it's why i hate it as a home for fandom, or just as a socmed platform in general.

me: claims to be a catboy/anime boy

me: constantly wishes that i was born a guy

me: all of my gender/presentation goals are men

me: constantly jokes about being gay for men while not being gay for women

me: obsessively consumes pornography about men with my body type and projects myself onto those characters

me: but i'm totally not a trans guy though
