Incest talk below the cut.
So I'm reading one Jrock RPF thing where all of the characters refer to each other as "big brother" or "little brother" and I'm like "Okay, this is weird, but I'm willing to buy it. Maybe the author just thinks that's what cis men do?"
And then I remember something else by the same author. It's a vampire AU where vamps who were turned by the same guy refer to themselves as "brothers" and the main relationship is between a pair of vampire "brothers" even though they very specifically don't use the "brothers" comparison to refer to the main couple.
Then I go back to the first story and I read a scene where Character A refers to Character B as his baby brother before kissing him, and I'm like "Yeah. The author's got a kink. I don't think they realize they have a kink, but they do."
