stardust_riflethe best part of being in an older fandom is that sometimes you go to check the ao3 feed and you see a new fic tagged with something like "i wrote this on the back of some scratch paper in 1989 and i just got around to transcribing it"
it is not only wonderful, but it makes me feel better about the speed of my writing output.

Date: 2020-12-19 09:29 pm (UTC)I don't know if this is just an X Japan-dom thing, but there are also the wonderous ocassions- like mana coming from above, where you get like 5 or 6 fics posted in the same day by the same person and it's pretty obvious that they're transferring their older stuff from another site.
Or when you're looking through the back-end and you see a "new" fic that got accurately backdated so I didn't see it when I checked.
