I just looked this up, and damn, getting any guilty at all feels like a bad ending to me. Like getting someone killed in Until Dawn.

That's actually a really interesting perspective, because pretty much everyone else that I've met in the fandom (which isn't many) believes that at least one character deserves to be voted guilty.

Well, if you’re playing something like 999 or Danganronpa, your goal is to save as many people as possible, right? Some of them might be “bad,” but losing them to the mastermind’s whims is always treated as a bad thing. In this case, the fandom IS the mastermind. Kinda gives me Saw vibes, too, and if there’s one lesson to be learned from Saw, it’s that Jigsaw was wrong about everything.
