My dad and I both have Does Not Like 90% Of People Disease, and while he likes my mom well enough (they were a tumblr girl4reddit boy relationship well before those websites existed) and he likes me (we’re the same melody in different keys, to use a music metaphor) my brother is in the 90%, sadly. I think it might be a combination of him not being able to mentally model my brother very well, and also the fact that he had to wrestle him to the ground multiple times when my brother was slamming his body against my door screaming about how he was going to kill me.
