Sometimes I feel like the situation with trans!K-pop fic (and other fandoms, but k-pop most of all) is best compared to a person, or a small group of people, waving around a machine gun madly into traffic, screaming at the top of their lungs that they're fighting off criminals, but there aren't any criminals around, they're just madly shooting at anything that moves, and when someone very quietly pops their head out of their car to say that actually, this doesn't make them feel very safe, they get shot 20 times with a machine gun.
