For threesentenceficathon, I wound up writing a short piece about a Vento Aureo AU where Bruno dies for good in San Giorgio Maggiore and I can't stop thinking about this AU.

Firstly, who goes on the boat? Fugo's definitely much more certain in his decision to stay behind- if the Boss got Bucciarati, what chance do we have? Abbacchio's also definitely staying behind- the only reason he went with them in canon was because he'd follow Bruno to hell and back, and the idea that he'd have to follow Giorno now? (?!?!?!?!?!?!) would be absolutely intolerable to him. I give Mista fairly good odds on going with Giorno, and Narancia...I'm not so sure. He's honestly a toss-up. If Giorno ordered him to go with them, then he probably would, but I'm not sure if Giorno would do that. Trish is obviously going with them- she's got basically nowhere else to fucking go and I don't feel like Giorno would just leave her. He would think about it but decide against it.

Now for battles. I give them fairly good odds on surviving Squatizi, especially if Narancia's with them. However, without Moody Blues, they've got basically no idea on how to find Diavolo (or even fly the plane to get to Sardinia, I guess Mista could threaten some poor pilot to get them there, and from there the Mysterious B.I.G fight plays out basically the same as in canon, i guess)

If they don't get to Sardinia and Diavolo does, then I guess Risotto kills him and solves everyone's problems, so this may not be a "canon divergence that makes everything worse" like the prompt said! (Except for Bruno. Poor, poor Bruno.)

i just have a gripe with how a lot of fanfiction portrays therapy. as like. an autist.

I'm probably not actually going to write this for a number of reasons (having no plot other than Fuck You Strongly Worded Letter To Follow, not actually feeling confident in my NoriTaro characterization) but one idea I've had bouncing around in my head is a post-canon NoriTaro Live And Become Speedwagon Foundation Agents AU that's basically just Kujo "Would Rather Cut His Own Arm Off Than Express An Emotion Or Vulnerability" Jotaro and Kakyoin "Was Psychiatrically Abused As A Child" Noriaki repeatedly running up against the assumption that OF COURSE they're going to be using their Speedwagon Foundation Official Therapy Vouchers, don't they want to be Helped? To be Mentally Healthy? To be Normal? and circumventing various bureaucratic attempts to ~persuade~ them to go to therapy.

Crucially this does not end with them actually going to therapy, and this is portrayed as a neutral-ish ending.
