stardust_riflei just thought of the mobile mecha cosmos gang pre-canon and the absolute linguistic shenanigans that would happen
you have Nico- speaks Arabic fluently and knows some English, although not much
Yury- speaks Russian fluently and is learning Japanese as a second language
Cas- doesn't actually speak any language fluently because her dad is a horrible human being, but does know a collection of words and phrases from around fifteen different languages
Kai & Souma- speak Japanese fluently and doesn't know any other languages
