I'm actually not surprised to see this, because that one big tumblr blog (i don't remember their name but i do believe they deactivated a few years back) that screamed about fetishization was run by two terfs and a gay man with severe internalized homophobia and severe transphobia

The way I see it is: smut and porn are perfectly fine to fetishize homosexual couples. It's when you start treating gay men and lesbians in real life in a fetishizing manor that it's a problem.
