Who is the creator or original author of the work your fandom is based on?
While Ensemble Stars is a corporate product and thus has many hands in the pie, Akira, the head scenario writer, is considered by most of the fandom to be sort of the "real daddy" of the franchise. This is probably not true, but alas. At least Enstars credits their writers.
Can you name a few lesser-known facts about your fandom that only true fans would know?
Okay!
> Hajime is quite physically strong. He once beat Keito in an arm-wrestling contest.
> Mao has seasonal allergies.
> Shu Itsuki is probably canonically gender dysphoric.
What’s the origin story of your fandom’s name or term for its fans?
Well, "Ensemble Stars" is obviously based on the name of the game it's a spinoff of (Ensemble Girls), and the "stars" part was probably added to indicate that these aren't normal boys, they're stars! (i.e, idols)
Are there any common misconceptions about your fandom that you’d like to clear up?
Mayoi and Shu are canonically shotacons. No amount of whining and bitching about this being canonically true will make it any less canonically true.
What is one piece of trivia that you’re proudest to know about your fandom?
Eichi canonically hates his own body for being disabled and (informed trait) ugly, which is part of the reason he's so obsessed with Wataru's beauty at the start of ! era. I'm proud to know this because it comes from a light novel not many people have read and also it reframes his character in super interesting ways.
