Also, the first DR game has "oblaat" as a gift type, and the description says "It's a treasure trove when you have to take a bitter pill or speak ill of somebody."

Am I just being the kind of Westerner who thinks that all instances of katsudon in Japanese media are YOI references, or is this a reference to a certain musician?
