Like my friend. He's a cis dude who has, up until he became terminally obsessed with DioPucci thanks to yours truly, has mostly stayed away from non-canon ships. And because he wants to bond with me, sometimes he goes up to me and says shit like "You know how we all call Bucciarati the mom? And you ship Abbacchio with him, right? So Abbacchio's like the dad?" and then I just nod and smile very politely like "yes, yes, that's a very interesting idea" and act like I haven't been rotating the idea of a weird psychosexual psuedo-familial relationship between the members of the Bucci Gang since I finished VA.
And then there's the Mother's Basement What's In An OP video, where he brings up the idea of SatoSugu shipping as like "an interesting new interpretation that you could subscribe to when you rewatch" and. My dude I spent the entirety of this season of JJK with shipping goggles wielded to my face.
