Have you ever won a quiz or competition based on your fandom knowledge?
Nope!
What are some of the iconic symbols, phrases, or artifacts related to your fandom?
"It's going to be Christmas soon, Keito." "So what, Eichi." AMAZING. Nui. Kogaball. Brand New Stars.
Can you explain the timeline or sequence of release for the main content of your fandom?
The OG Enstars game (which was purely a raising simulator and didn't have any rhythm elements) was released in 2015 as a spinoff of the company's other game Ensemble Girls. The game was unpopular before the release of the Checkmate event in 2017, which massively boosted the game's profile and income. The anime adaptation aired in 2019, and was officially released overseas. A continuation game was released in 2020, which continues the game's story and adds rhythm elements. This game then got an official English release in 2022.
How has the canon of your fandom changed or grown since it first began?
Oh, it's changed a lot. We've gotten loads of new characters, a change in scenery from Yumenosaki Academy to Ensemble Square, and a lot of characters going through character development.
What are the major themes or messages conveyed through your fandom?
Um, I don't really know. Just to spitball, "some people can't relate to humanity through no fault of their own and this is a neutral thing", "art for art's sake is good"?
