I know that it's technically "wrong" and a "misconception", but the old-school "bisexuality ultimately comes from someone being both mentally male and female" is closer to the way I experience my sexualigender than most ways that people nowadays talk about bisexuality.

This reminds me of the term omnigay (someone whose gender changes, and whose sexually also changes to always be gay), and makes me wonder if omnistraight is also a thing.

Anyway, "this view of bisexuality is not true about bisexuals in the aggregate" and "this view of bisexuals is accurate for this one particular bisexual" are compatible statements and anyone who gets on your case about being bisexual """"wrong"""" can fight me.
