you know when you're missing the misery a bit too much when you stop reading a neutral news outlet devoted to one of your interests because it's "coddling you" and you apparently need to get all your fandom engagement from random tumblr blogs who devote all their time to shittalking your favorite bands/artists and mocking the people who like them because you're too stupid to realize what good music is and when people go "oh penicillin is so much better than diru" and then you go and listen to some of penicillin's music and you don't really vibe with it that much and so you go "i must literally have a fucking mental disorder that prevents me from realizing what good music is, this is proof that i must listen to everything this person says because obviously they are much smarter than me"
